Sharing of Industry 4.0 to Delegates from 14 Different Countries
On 25 November 2022, the Singapore Manufacturing Federation (SMF) Secretary-General Mr Lawrence Pek, presented the landscape of the Singapore Manufacturing sector to delegates from 14 different countries at a seminar organized by the Singapore Productivity Centre (SGPC). The seminar provided a platform for industry leaders to share their experiences and insights on the current state of the manufacturing sector in Singapore and its future outlook.

The SGPC, a one-stop productivity competency centre for companies, operates on the principle that companies can grow and be competitive by systematically addressing various aspects of productivity. The seminar was an opportunity for SMF members to share their expertise and insights on digitalization and its impact on the manufacturing sector.
SMF members Mr Khoon Seng Goh, CEO of Osteopore, and Mr KC Leong, COO of GD Precision, presented their digitalization journey and shared their experiences with the delegates. The presentations provided valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities for manufacturing companies and how digitalization can help drive growth and competitiveness.
