The Singapore Manufacturing Federation (SMF) and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan (CCI) renewed their Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) at the Singapore-Uzbekistan Business Forum on 16 January 2023. The MOU is aimed at helping Singapore companies explore further opportunities in the Uzbekistan market.

SMF President, Mr Lennon Tan and CCI Chairman, Mr Davron Vakhabov renewed their MOU and exchanged it at the Singapore-Uzbekistan Business Forum on 16 January 2023.
The MOU was exchanged between SMF President, Mr Lennon Tan and CCI Chairman, Mr Davron Vakhabov, in the presence of high-level representatives from both countries. Singapore's Minister for Trade and Industry, Mr Gan Kim Yong, and Uzbekistan's First Deputy Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade, Mr Laziz Kudratov, both attended the event and spoke about the importance of trade and investment between the two countries.
The renewal of the MOU signifies a commitment from both the SMF and CCI to strengthen trade relations between Singapore and Uzbekistan. The SMF looks forward to a closer collaboration with the CCI, and to working together to provide greater support and assistance to companies looking to expand their business in Uzbekistan.
