Sustainability Transformation: The Role of Accountancy and Finance Professionals in the Singapore Manufacturing Sector

SMF President Mr Lennon Tan was interviewed by The Business Times yesterday (29 November 2023) on the findings in a joint study by the SMF, Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA), Deloitte and Singapore Management University. The study, titled "Sustainability Transformation: The Role of Accountancy and Finance Professionals in the Singapore Manufacturing Sector", was launched at the ISCA Conference 2023 yesterday.

During the interview, Lennon shared about the SMF's newly launched Chief Sustainability Officer as a Service (CSOaaS) that addresses SMEs' challenges in embarking on sustainability.

Lennon was also one of the panelists during the ISCA Conference where he shared the challenges manufacturers faced in becoming sustainable and the skills companies required to become more sustainable.
